⏱️ How to View and Manage My Time in ENGAGE
The My Time section in ENGAGE allows you to record, track, and manage your work hours as part of your training program.
From here, you can add new time entries, submit them for approval, review rejected hours (with reasons), and track all approved time.
? Accessing My Time
Navigate to My Account → My Time.
The My Time folder includes three key sections:
- New Entry – Add and submit new time records.
- Rejected Time – View entries that were rejected and resubmit after correction.
- Approved Time – Review approved time entries by week and skill.
? Add a New Time Entry
Step 1: Select the Entry Period
In the New Entry tab, start by selecting the Entry Period to edit:
- Program – Choose the appropriate training program.
- Facet Type – Select OJL (On-the-Job Learning).
- Time Period (Week) – Choose the week you’re recording time for.
Step 2: Enter Your Time Details
Once your entry period is selected, complete all required fields:
- Period Interval (Day) – Select the day you worked.
- Employer – Choose your employer from the list.
- Manager (optional) – Select if applicable.
- Hours – Enter the total hours worked for that day.
- Skills – Choose the skill(s) you worked on.
After entering all required information, click the Add Entry button.
Your new time entry will appear at the bottom of the window.
Step 3: Submit Hours for Approval
Once your time entries are complete:
Review for accuracy.
Click Submit Hours for Approval.
- Your entries will move to the Waiting for Approval window, where they await review from your program administrators.
❌ Rejected Time
If any of your time entries are rejected, they will appear in the Rejected Time tab.
Each rejected entry will include a Reason for Rejection provided by your Training Center administrator.
To correct and resubmit:
- Review the rejection reason.
- Make any necessary edits.
- Click Submit Hours for Approval (bottom-right corner).
Your corrected time will return to the Waiting for Approval list.
✅ Approved Time
Approved entries appear in the Approved Time window.
You can:
- Expand specific Skill entries by clicking the > arrow next to each item.
- View all skill details at once by selecting Expand All (top-right corner).
This view provides a complete summary of your approved work hours by skill and category.
? Submit for Raise
When you reach your Wage Level Goal based on your accumulated OJL hours, you can submit a request for a raise directly from this section.
To submit a raise request:
- Click the Submit for Raise button.
- An email will automatically be generated and sent to your FTI Administrator for review.
Your administrator will review your progress and process the wage adjustment as appropriate.

? Tips for Success
- Always double-check your Program and Week selections before adding entries.
- Submit hours regularly to prevent delays in approval or wage updates.
- Review Rejected Time promptly to correct errors and maintain accurate records.
- Use the Submit for Raise button as soon as your logged hours meet your OJL goal threshold.
