Personnel File Uploads
Overview
The Personnel File Uploads feature allows you to import member data directly into the system in bulk. This tool helps streamline data management, saving you time when adding or updating multiple member records at once.
How to Access
Navigate to Membership >> Connect >> Personnel File Uploads.
How to Upload a File
- Click the ➕ (plus icon) in the top right corner to start the upload process.
- Complete all required fields — any field marked with a red asterisk (*) is mandatory.
- Once all fields have been selected, click the + Choose button to open your file explorer and select your electronic file.
File Assumptions & Formatting Requirements
To ensure a successful upload, your file must meet the following criteria:
General Rules
- The file must contain a single header row.
- The spelling of column names must exactly match the specifications below (case-sensitive).
The order of columns does not matter.
Additional or unused columns will be ignored.
Accepted file formats:
- CSV (Comma-Separated Values)
- XLS / XLSX (Microsoft Excel)
Required & Supported Columns

| Member Number | The union member number assigned to the employee. |
| Employment Number | The EIN or employer identifier assigned to the employee. |
| First Name | The first name of the employee. |
| Middle Name | The middle name of the employee. |
| Last Name | The last name of the employee. |
| Occupation | The occupation or job title of the employee. |
| Work Level | The work level of the employee (e.g., full-time, part-time). |
| Address 1 | The first address line of the employee. |
| Address 2 | The second address line of the employee. |
| City | The city where the employee resides. |
| State Province | The state or province of the employee. |
| Zip Postal | The ZIP or postal code of the employee. |
| Home Phone | The employee’s home phone number. |
| Mobile Phone | The employee’s mobile phone number. |
| Primary Email | The employee’s primary email address. |
| Secondary Email | The employee’s secondary email address. |
| Employment Start Date | The date the employee was hired. |
| Profession Start Date | The date the employee began this profession. |
Best Practices
- Always review and clean your data before uploading to prevent errors or duplicates.
- Ensure all required fields are present and properly formatted.
- If errors occur during upload, review the system’s error log to identify missing or incorrect data.
- Save a backup copy of your file before importing, for reference and verification.
